Unruhen in Bangladesh bei Auseinandersetzungen zwischen säkularen und islamistischen Kräften
Für Leser und Fernsehzuschauer in Deutschland ist es oft sehr schwierig, sich einen Überblick über die Situation in Bangladesh zu verschaffen. Nur wer viele verschiedene Medien gleichzeitig nutzt, kann sich einigermaßen informieren. Das liegt einerseits an dem Desinteresse der deutschen Gesellschaft an Bangladesh, so dass gar nicht, sehr wenig oder ungenau über Bangladesh berichtet wird und anderseits an der recht konfusen Berichterstattung bengalischer Medien, die voller Namen und Orte ist, dabei aber versäumt genügend Hintergrundinformationen zu Personen und Orten zu liefern. 365 days have gone past. Two bright budding journalist, parent of a bright toddler, younger brother and sister of few, son and daughter of loving parents Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi and friends of many of us were brutally murdered in their bedroom by still unidentified assailants. What were their faults? Why innocent Megh should was deprived of parental love and affection? Why their parents have to bear such irreparable loss? Why we are deprived of the pleasant company of friends? We want to know.
Almost 365 days have elapsed since young budding popular journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi were brutally murdered in the bedroom of their rented house in the heart of the capital city. None less than Prime Minister of Bangladesh sated of her government resolve of using all resources to nab the killers and bring them under justice.
The nation which cannot honor its heroes soon finds that heroes do not born to them. Bangladesh is a country born through bloody liberation war and supreme sacrifice of three million precious lives. Bangladeshis also protected the right of its mother tongue through supreme sacrifices of language martyrs. We all remember these heroes with great respect. We also remember Bangabandhu and top leaders of liberation war with deep respect. But since independence the person who made Bangladesh bigger and brighter to the world community is undoubtedly the Nobel laureate Prof Mohammad Yunus through 

Six months have gone by. The investigation of the gruesome murder of two popular media personality Sagar and Runi has not advanced even an inch. No suspects could be arrested, no clues could be established. Poor Megh has started asking painful unanswerable questions about her parents. What answers the nation and its policy makers have for this innocent unfortunate child. Why investigation agencies police, RAB failed to even establish any clue though Prime Minister and Home Minister promised of prompt actions immediately after murder?
