Für Leser und Fernsehzuschauer in Deutschland ist es oft sehr schwierig, sich einen Überblick über die Situation in Bangladesh zu verschaffen. Nur wer viele verschiedene Medien gleichzeitig nutzt, kann sich einigermaßen informieren. Das liegt einerseits an dem Desinteresse der deutschen Gesellschaft an Bangladesh, so dass gar nicht, sehr wenig oder ungenau über Bangladesh berichtet wird und anderseits an der recht konfusen Berichterstattung bengalischer Medien, die voller Namen und Orte ist, dabei aber versäumt genügend Hintergrundinformationen zu Personen und Orten zu liefern. Our dearest land of origin Bangladesh is now in crisis. The ongoing political impasse, street confrontation is creating serious bleeding of national economy. The pro and anti-liberation forces after 42 years of independence have locked horns on the street creating serious uncertainties to life and living. Continuous economy destructing programs of a vested group of criminals has already impacted upon the business, commerce and stagnated the economic growth. We want to know!

Megh with banner for justice365 days have gone past. Two bright budding journalist, parent of a bright toddler, younger brother and sister of few, son and daughter of loving parents Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi and friends of many of us were brutally murdered in their bedroom by still unidentified assailants. What were their faults? Why innocent Megh should was deprived of parental love and affection? Why their parents have to bear such irreparable loss? Why we are deprived of the pleasant company of friends? We want to know.

Sagar and Runi were murdered on the early hours of 11th February 2012. They were living at a rented house in the heart of busy bustling capital Dhaka city. Newly appointed Home Minister of Bangladesh Mr. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir on 9th October 2012 dramatically announced arrest of 7 suspected persons in connection with the gruesome murder of popular Journalist Couple Sagar and Runi in a media conference. More than 8 months ago the Journalist Couple was brutally murdered by unknown assailants in their bedroom. Only their minor son 5 years old Megh survived this unfortunate incident.

Six months have gone by. The investigation of the gruesome murder of two popular media personality Sagar and Runi has not advanced even an inch. No suspects could be arrested, no clues could be established. Poor Megh has started asking painful unanswerable questions about her parents. What answers the nation and its policy makers have for this innocent unfortunate child. Why investigation agencies police, RAB failed to even establish any clue though Prime Minister and Home Minister promised of prompt actions immediately after murder?

Let deceased Humayun Ahmed Rest In Peace

Humayun Ahmed, the doyen of Bangladesh expired while at treatment of stomach cancer at a New York Hospital and has been buried at his own created Nuhas Pally. For his immemorable creations,  stories , novels, dramas and movies he became a national icon and living legend. His premature death shocked and saddened his billions of admirers and well wishers in Bangladesh, West Bengal and his well wishers all over the world. Like the rest of Bangladeshis anywhere in the world we are deeply shocked at this national loss and wish her soul to rest in eternal peace.

Son of a martyred police officer father who studied Chemistry started his teaching profession in DhakaUniversity. He not only created renaissance among younger generation with his works but he also created many popular dramas and stories about our great liberation war.
