Expats in Germany demand speedy trial of Sagor, Runi’s killers

The Bangladeshi expatriates in Germany demanded the speedy trial and exemplary punishment of the killers involved in the double murder of journalist couple Sagor Sarowar and Meherun Runi. In a mourning ceremony in Bonn, Germany on Sunday, the Bangladeshi and German professionals urged the Bangladesh Government for conducting the speedy investigation and ensure justice.

    It is really a pity that Police and Intelligence in Bangladesh in almost two weeks have falied to arrest suspected killers or even establish the motives behind killing .The only witness of the horrondous incident little Megh is being put under tremendous mental stress. No one has lost more precious things in life than Megh. People must let him in peace to mourn his parents death.
    I appeal to Human Right Watch for conducting enquiry into this killing .
